Service Technician – AgTech

M&F Talent has a horticultural equipment client that is seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of their machines and systems. This role is pivotal in testing, installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, and providing the highest level of technical support and customer service to their clients.

The Service Technician reports to the Service Coordinator and plays a crucial role in the company’s service operations.

• Location: Midwest & West Coast U.S.
• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: $75-$80K

Responsibilities:

• Test new machines and systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Install machinery and train clients on its use.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks at client locations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Modify machines and systems as needed.
• Communicate insights and feedback to relevant departments.
• Serve as a technical expert and problem-solver for clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in work meetings and toolbox meetings.
• Adhere to quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training or a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Software, IT, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in roles such as mechanic, service engineer, commissioning engineer, or installation technician in machine construction.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English, written and verbal.
• Strong interest in technology and innovative techniques, including AI, robotics, and vision systems.
• Willingness to travel, including potential international travel.
