Senior Sales Executive – Cannabis Extracts

M&F Talent has a client in cannabis extracts that is looking to onboard a new Senior Sales Executive. The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for the sales of our client’s product lines and services in Colorado. This person, in collaboration with other sales team members, will develop and execute on a sales strategy supportive of revenue goals.

This position’s primary responsibilities include account prospecting, servicing, and acquisition and will focus on identifying opportunities and managing customer relationships to facilitate revenue growth and product line performance. The Senior Sales Executive will be an effective, proactive communicator and leader skilled in negotiation and relationship building with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience.

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of customer’s business, their client base, and needs in order to provide excellent service and meet customer’s identified needs
  • Utilize sales tactics and resources to meet and exceed sales performance goals
  • Work with sales team members to identify and achieve targets for revenue, customer, and product line growth
  • Generate and manage service business depending on needs as determined by CEO and Director
  • of Operations
  • Build relationships and maintain regular communication with customers to facilitate growth and proactively address issues
  • Monitor customer base activity for slippage, triage with customer service in any occurrence of account decline
  • Generate leads and identify opportunities for revenue growth
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly sales reviews and reporting including customer base activity and actual performance against sales targets
  • Regular account interaction to facilitate sales, coordinate marketing, and sales support, and build trust; activities include frequent calls/emails with decision-makers, meetings with key staff, and retail visits
  • Account onboarding and maintenance for wholesale and processing
  • Coordinate with sales support staff, customer service, and marketing to ensure customer service standards are met for all accounts
  • Participate in weekly team sales conferences and regular account update, planning, and sales marketing sessions
  • Maintain detailed activity reporting in CRM to develop benchmarks and facilitate communication


  • College graduate preferred
  • Current MED badge holder
  • Minimum 10 years sales experience in cannabis preferred
  • 3-5 years in cannabis or premium brand sales
  • Must be able to pass background investigation for the State of Colorado and the City of Boulder
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving quotas
  • Experience working with customer relationship management software
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques
  • Competency with Microsoft Office software
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and driven
