Regional Account Manager – Commercial Greenhouse Sales
M&F Talent has a commercial greenhouse manufacturing client that is looking to expand its team with a new Regional Account Manager in the Southern Midwest Region. This person will be responsible for profitable growth for the assigned segment and territory, including developing assigned accounts and prospecting for new business.

- Location: Southern Midwest (TX, LA, AR, OK)
- Employment type: Full-Time
- Salary: $55K-$85K base (plus commissions)
Responsibilities:
- Originate new customer relationships through prospecting, lead follow-up, and networking.
- Leverage CRM to craft strategies, gain insights, and grow business.
- Develop key account plans to meet or exceed strategic territory sales targets.
- Read and interpret customer specifications to identify opportunities to recommend greenhouse solutions through a consultative sales approach.
- Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of quotations, questions, decisions, and initial production shipments.
- Coordinate and organize visits to facilities and sites to ensure that customer needs and requirements are being met.
- Act as the primary point person to develop growth strategies for assigned accounts and incremental opportunities.
- Display team player behaviors with the ability to build productive business relationships with hourly employees, leaders, and peers.
- Proactively report to internal stakeholders on performance versus target, pipeline health, successes, and further opportunities.
- Act as liaison between the customer and manufacturer.
- Proactively provide pertinent information to adjacent team members to ensure accurate, profitable quotes.
- Travel within designated Sales Territory up to 60% of the time.
- Attend periodic industry trade shows.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of Commercial Greenhouse sales experience.
- Must reside in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, or Oklahoma with knowledge of key accounts in the market.
- Ability to assess customer needs and propose solutions based on knowledge of client’s product offerings and horticulture industry.
- Excellent self-organization and time management.
- Detail-oriented, resilient, and self-starter.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to thrive under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.
- Experience in CRM is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in related field a plus.
- Knowledge or exposure to Agriculture, Horticulture, and/or Construction is a plus.
