Project Engineer – Architectural Lighting
M&F Talent has a client in lighting design and manufacturing who is looking to hire a new Project Engineer. This candidate will be responsible for obtaining the detailed information necessary to pursue new business opportunities, as well as analyze existing projects. They will also be closely involved throughout the process to help move our client’s company forward through creative and technical improvements.
Our client is looking for a candidate who is passionate about lighting, and teamwork and has a strong technical background. This team member will play a key role in protecting the company against risk by understanding all product and process requirements while also supporting the Project Manager and Project Estimator roles.
Location: Denver, CO
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Project Manager and/or Project Estimator as directed, obtain all necessary information required to set up an opportunity in an
established timeframe. - Strategically work through opportunities to organize all counts, specs, and RFI documentation.
- Communicate all necessary information to the team in order to spec and quote the project correctly.
- Support with item entry and submittal documentation as needed.
- Provide general support to the company for non-project-related work. Update training program for new hires to follow all processes and best practices as necessary.
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of work experience, preferably in the lighting industry. Excellent verbal and written skills—communicating effectively with co-workers, superiors, outside vendors and others sufficiently to exchange or convey information.
- Managing multiple tasks, often with competing deadlines.
- Must be able to interpret electrical drawings & details efficiently.
- Software (preferred): Bluebeam Netsuite AGI, MS Office Suite.
