Outside Sales Rep – CEA Technology

M&F Talent has a client who manufactures CEA technology solutions that needs to hire a new Outside Sales Rep in the Northeastern United States.

The Outside Sales Rep will help the company expand into new markets by leveraging their ability to build strong business relationships, understand customer needs, and offer intelligent, comprehensive solutions. The ideal candidate is upbeat and entrepreneurial, with the drive to succeed in fast-paced, innovative environments.

• Location: Northeast U.S.
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Salary: $75-$85K + Commission

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle outbound sales calls, including cold calling and lead follow-up.
• Respond to incoming inquiries and in-house sales requests.
• Provide accurate quotes and assist with proposal development.
• Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Conduct prospecting efforts and courtesy follow-up calls.
• Represent product offerings in a consultative and technical manner.
• Support business growth into adjacent markets like data centers, lighting, and open-field agriculture.
• Manage multiple sales projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
• Track all activity and customer communication using CRM tools.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in sales and sales conversion roles.
• Strong communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face channels.
• Exposure to electronics and the ability to grasp technical concepts.
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain momentum on long sales cycles.
• Computer savvy; comfortable navigating multiple platforms and CRM tools.
• High energy, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
• Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks with urgency.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client visits and business development.
