NetSuite Developer – Hydro Nutrients (FL)

NetSuite Developer

Mac & Fulton Talent Partners has a client in the hydroponic nutrients industry that needs to hire a new NetSuite Developer for their IT department. This person will be responsible for NetSuite development, analysis, administration, and support activities across the entire company.

Our client is one of the leading hydroponic nutrient companies in the world – they are offering excellent upward mobility for the right people.

Location: Florida


  • Build and deliver NetSuite solutions for optimizing the usability and functionality of the system including customization and configuration (viaNetSuite Developer SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, and SuiteCloud), integration and support case resolution.
  • Design and configure integrations between NetSuite and other business applications by using cloud-based technologies.
  • Actively participate in system enhancements, including requirements gathering, development, testing, data validation, documentation, user support and training, and on-going application maintenance.
  • Experience in customization of reports, KPI’s, dashboards, saved searches, and workflows within the NetSuite platform.
  • Be the technical point of contact for the NetSuite application and provide front line support for NetSuite users.
  • Functionally proficient as a NetSuite user, able to advise users on ideal use cases for customizations vs native functionality.
  • Maintain user roles/access and assign appropriate permissions/levels of access.
  • Providing necessary training to users within the company.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customizations, and integrations.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the business process centered on the NetSuite platform.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity.
  • Facilitate EDI / FTP setup with 3PL’s, suppliers and customers.
  • Understanding of code versioning tools.


  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent education/experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of NetSuite development experience; with at least 2 years of experience with NetSuite (including SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk and SuiteBuilder) as a developer and as an administrator.
  • NetSuite Suite Foundation/Administrator Certification.
  • Preferred Certifications: NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer II, NetSuite Administrator, SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of data models, data integrity, and database concepts.
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite Search tools (using joins, aggregated data, formula fields using SQL operators to extract data).
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite modules and business processes (sales, support, supply chain, manufacturing, accounting, and finance, purchasing, and inventory management, etc.).
  • Knowledge of using NetSuite workflow and scripts.
  • Strong technical background, and hands-on experience customizing NetSuite and integrating it with other business systems.
  • Strong relationship building and excellent spoken & written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Experience with B2B and B2C experience is a plus.
  • Experience with SuiteAnalytics and query module is a plus.
  • Experience with NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing a plus.
