Kitchen Production Supervisor – Cannabis Edibles

Location: Hollister, CA

This position is responsible for oversight and management of the kitchen personnel to ensure production meets business needs. The Kitchen Production Supervisor will ensure that the cannabis edibles production facility is safe, functional, and profitable.

Responsibilitieskitchen production supervisor

  • Supervises, trains, tasks, and motivates crew members and leads team which includes:
    1. Communicates projections and production goals
    2. Coaches employees to improve skills
    3. Performs quality control checks
    4. Analyzes business needs and decides on shift/department labor; shortened shifts or over time
    5. Delegates and assigns tasks to meet business needs
    6. Documents, reports and delivers disciplinary issues to allow accurate and timely documentation
  • Upholds production and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Collects inventory counts and works with inventory
  • Communicates with leadership about business operations and
  • Ensures industry
  • Communicates personnel notes and partners with management on personnel management including: recommending performance/disciplinary actions, schedule changes, and/or position
  • Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or
  • Report to Edibles Manager.


  • Must be 21 or older
  • High School Diploma or a General Education Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous leadership/manager experience supervising staff
  • Previous experience in kitchen production/management
  • One (1) year experience in processing or managing a production facility
  • Experience in Candy production in hard candy, soft caramels, gummy candies, chocolate, and taffy strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and
  • Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and have good physical ability to work in a MIPs kitchen
