Inside Sales Rep – Agtech

M&F Talent has a client in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) technology that is looking to hire a new Inside Sales Rep. This person will interface with current and new clients, process quotes and orders, managing key sales programs while working closely with the Sales and Account Managers when required.

Our client makes environmental controllers for greenhouses and indoor farms.

Location: Anaheim, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming calls and follow up on requests from potential and current customers.inside sales rep
  • Develop quotes, credit memos, and process orders.
  • Communicate and follow up with customers on order revisions and order status.
  • Enter and maintain opportunities and account information in the CRM.
  • Communicate with the shipping and production department to ensure timely production and shipment of orders.
  • Track warranty and maintenance programs and follow up on renewals with customers.
  • Monitor and service Cloud support calls.
  • Support Account Managers, Sales Manager, and Inside Sales Reps when required.
  • Manage all aspects of select House Accounts.
  • Attend and assist with trade shows and National Sales meetings when requested.
  • Attend and report on KRI’s at weekly sales meetings.
  • Develop lead generation reports and implement prospecting program as identified by the Sales Manager.
  • Learn company products to become qualified to answer customer questions.
  • Administrate the company’s social media and email programs.
  • Desire to learn the role of an Account Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with technical equipment preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the CEA industry is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in sales or customer support role desired.
  • Willing to travel to see clients – up to 10% of the time.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Patience, good listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to grow with the company and work extra hours when required.
  • Professional phone skills and a keen sense of using the internet.
  • Intermediate level skills with MS Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Video Meeting software.
  • Experience with CRM program preferably Zoho.
  • Experience in developing, submitting, and tracking Social Media posts
