Greenhouse Design Adviser (Remote Work)
Mac & Fulton Talent Partners is looking for a Greenhouse Design Adviser for a well-established greenhouse building company. The position will support the company’s design division in developing horticulture-related solutions for customer success.
Location: Remote work is possible for the right person
Responsibilities:
- Engaging existing and prospective customers to identify and develop/design greenhouse structural and/or equipment solutions
- Provide customer support on existing and new greenhouse designs
- Preparing spreadsheets to explain greenhouse design metrics relating to environmental conditions, structure, workflow, etc.
- Actively managing assigned projects through their completion
- Evaluating, developing, and selling new greenhouse structure and/or equipment solutions
- Cultivating and maintaining customer relationships through the power of information, success focused guidance, and support
- Representing/promoting company via written or verbal communications and presentations
- Creating bids for commercial greenhouse builds and sales
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA Degree in Horticulture or similar field
- Prior experience in the horticulture industry
- Expert understanding of controlled environment agriculture (greenhouse and / or indoor)
- Knowledge in greenhouse / indoor gardening structures: heating, cooling, lighting, benching, controls and systems
- Outstanding mathematical skills
- Strong written, verbal and face to face communication skills
- Ability to work independently to drive results
- Excellent time and project management skills with strong attention to details
- Multi-state travel required (travel expenses covered by company)
- Deal with problem solving involving several concrete variables
- Proficient in AutoCAD (version 2014 or higher)
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite
- Valid driver’s license
