Greenhouse Construction & Shading Supervisor – Greenhouse Design

M&F Talent has a client in the commercial greenhouse design field that is seeking a Greenhouse Construction & Shading Supervisor to lead installation teams in achieving project timelines and client expectations. The ideal candidate is a hardworking and committed leader who ensures efficient and high-quality project execution.

Location: Remote (US & Canada)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $35 per hour (+overtime)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead construction crews to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Work alongside team members to complete construction and shading system installations.
• Assess and resolve on-site challenges efficiently and cost-effectively, escalating to management as needed.
• Provide regular project updates to minimize delays and quickly address issues.
• Ensure all crew members meet health and safety certification requirements.
• Conduct daily site assessments, document work progress, and submit reports as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure builds meet specifications.
• Coordinate with trades and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Report material shortages immediately to prevent project delays.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in greenhouse construction and shading system installations.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising or managing a team.
• Strong leadership, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and troubleshoot potential on-site issues.
• Proficiency in English, with Spanish language skills preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
