M&F Talent has a client in commercial greenhouse design that is looking to hire a new Greenhouse Account Manager. This is a great paying job with a highly successful company.
This person will be responsible for the revenue generation in districts, sales offices, and key accounts within a wide geographic area. They will also ensure high post-sales satisfaction by facilitating positive long-term relationships and creating a high potential for repeat business with customers.
The Greenhouse Account Manager will develop business with named accounts and may lead dedicated account teams. Also, they will assist with coaching and mentoring Entry Level and Intermediate Sales Representatives. The Greenhouse Account Manager reports to the Sales Director.

Responsibilities:
- Develops new and maintains existing accounts.
- Meets revenue targets given on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.
- Develops contacts and relationships with potential and existing customers and keeps records and continuously monitors these contacts and relationships to develop a favorable position for RBI.
- Communicates directly with new and existing customers or clients to explain features and merits of products or services offered both verbally and with good written communication.
- Public speaking in front of large groups performing product line presentations both by PowerPoint or other methods.
- Maximizes value to the company by securing orders at the highest margin possible.
- Solicits pre-bid and post-bid competitive feedback.
- Coordinates sales calls and travel.
- Acts as liaison between sales and other departments internally.
- Communicate with Department heads and Sales Support to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Demonstrates products or services and provides assistance in the best application of products or services.
- Answers all questions concerning a product or service, with appropriate referrals where required.
- Experienced in customer service with the ability and knowledge to communicate internally and externally.
- Closes transactions and takes orders.
- Submits time and expense reports to management.
- Investigates product/service warranty claims with the ability to determine if products have material defects or fabrication errors or misuse by the customer.
- Negotiate and resolve issues to ensure compliance within organization policies.
- Analyzes and interprets records of present and past sales, trends, and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred for management.
- Contacts prospects and explains the features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
- Assists with set pricing for the product in the territory.
- Monitors competitive pricing in the territory.
- Leverages solicited information to strategize and position RBI to secure orders.
- Develops territory plans to achieve budget.
- Shop drawing knowledge; ability to read and interpret contract and shop drawings
- Coordinate company technical engineering support and services to ascertain customers’ needs.
- Required to attend and evaluate regional/territory and national trade shows.
Qualifications:
- BA Degree in Business or related field.
- 7 years of sales experience.
- Has conducted “direct to grower” sales with technical products.
- Understands the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) industry.
- Has a good understanding of greenhouse structures (preferred).
- Is knowledgeable about the cannabis industry.
- Has previous training in negotiation seminars or classes.
- Experience in customer service.
- Has knowledge of required travel sites to ensure the most cost-effective travel.
- Experience fostering teamwork.
- Has managed team performance.
- Built collaborative relationships.
