Account Manager – LED Grow Lights

M&F Talent has a client in the LED lighting market that manufactures lights for both cannabis and food production. Our client is looking to onboard several new Account Managers to develop business with commercial CEA clients across the United States. These sales positions will provide account-level leadership to identify and qualify prospects, create plans, and execute against these plans.

Locations: NE U.S. & SoCal

Responsibilities:

  • Grow new business by demonstrating and selling lighting solutions to commercial cannabis growers and food producers.account manager
  • Drive new business while continuing to engage and manage our existing customer base.
  • Coordinate full sales cycle from initial prospecting to closing deals.
  • Conduct extensive research to understand potential clients in controlled environment agriculture.
  • Keep company CRM system up-to-date with latest developments.
  • Specify hardware, software, and technical services based on customers’ needs.
  • Provide constructive input to the sales team to continually improve the overall sales process and tools.
  • Research competitor products, promotions, and sales strategies.
  • Maintains competitive knowledge in the CEA space to create and adjust sales strategies.
  • Participate regularly in marketing activities (e.g., industry trade shows).
  • Update knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading trade journals, maintaining personal networks and participating in industry organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • LED lighting and or lighting sales experience a major plus.
  • Experience doing sales in the horticulture, cannabis, or hydroponics space is a major plus.
  • Experience with and understanding CRM systems.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with teammates and customers.
  • Comfortable traveling when needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to be effective while working remotely.
