M&F Talent has a client in enterprise software that services the regulated cannabis industry. They are looking to fill a Cannabis Software Implementation Specialist job. Our client is established in nearly every legal cannabis market in the U.S. and are leaders in the cannabis industry in the Pacific Northwest. Due to this rapid growth, they are expanding their team with some new key employees.

Our enterprise software client is looking for a talented cannabis business / IT professional to join their team. The position is more of an entry-level role, with an ideal professional background in a management role at a cannabis business. Also, a basic understanding of software, programming, and/or customer service would be helpful. This position comes with incredible growth opportunities within a rapidly growing company in a rapidly growing industry. Our cannabis recruiting team feels this is a more technical career than seen with most cannabis jobs.

This is a remote / work from home position. The position includes a good base salary, commission, and quarterly incentive bonuses. Also, health benefits will be implemented after a 90-day probationary period.

Location: CO, OR, WA, CA, NV (Remote Work)

Cannabis Software Implementation Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Help new cannabis clients onboard software in their businesses.
  • Stay abreast of cannabis compliance news in certain markets.
  • Communicate clearly with cannabis professionals.
  • Become a software product expert.
  • Lead new clients through their transition to the software platforms.
  • Conduct webinar training sessions.
  • Handle account management with onboarded clients.
  • Provide industry-leading customer service to clients on support requests.
  • Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot complex client support issues.
  • Document all call-ins and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Work independently in a remote office.


  • cannabis software implementation specialist job 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role in the regulated cannabis business (ex. Colorado cannabis industry).
  • 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Must have high speed, reliable internet at home.
  • Must have a reliable cell phone.
  • Experience with seed-to-sale software: Biotrack, MJ Freeway, METRC (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cannabis compliance regulations (preferred).
  • Experience with ERP software (preferred).
  • The Cannabis Software Implementation Specialist job requires Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Software QA testing experience (preferred).
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Professional and reliable.
  • Technology savvy.
