M&F Talent has a cannabis testing lab client that is looking to fill a Cannabis Customer Service Representative job. Our client, located in the Denver, CO area, is well established in the Colorado cannabis industry. They have a solid customer base and are well known local Colorado cannabis companies. This position is primarily responsible for providing front office support with the daily activities of a busy testing facility. The Customer Service Representative will help with organization, outreach, and communications of the business. Our cannabis recruiting team feels this is a more administrative position than seen with most cannabis jobs.
Location: Denver, CO
Cannabis Customer Service Representative Job Responsibilities:
- Receives walk-in and mail-in laboratory samples.
- Initiates laboratory samples into laboratory management systems.
- Answers incoming calls related to laboratory samples.
- Manages customer service issues related to METRC.
- Works with customers to resolve service issues in person or by phone.
- Maintains the appearance and environment of lobby/receiving areas based on company standards and expectations.
- Works with customer seed to sale platforms.
- Provides customer invoicing and receives payment for services.
- Facilitates communication between the lobby/customers and appropriate team members/managers.
- Maintains a highly organized work area.
- Deals extensively with cannabis cultivation, cannabis retail, and cannabis extracts clients.
- Represents the business in a professional manner.
- Studies cannabis compliance rules in Denver as well as Colorado.
- Attends cannabis industry events to network and study the cannabis business.
- Keeps abreast of METRC rules and regulations in the Colorado cannabis industry.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum one-year experience in the Colorado cannabis industry.
- Two-years’ experience in an office, administrative, receptionist, or customer service role (preferred).
- Working knowledge of METRC software.
- Colorado MED Badge (or ability to obtain).
