M&F Talent has a client in horticultural lighting who is looking to fill a LED Account Manager job. They have open positions in both the Eastern and Western United States. Our client is internationally established in horticultural lighting and cultivation technology. They are looking to strengthen their foothold in the U.S. cannabis and controlled environment agriculture markets with a dedicated sales team. Our hydroponics recruiting team feels this is a great opportunity for someone interested in cultivation technology.

Location: Eastern and Western United States

LED Account Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate sales from initial prospecting to signed contracts
  • Consistently achieve quarterly & annual sales budgets
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts through proper reporting in the CRM system
  • Develop long-term relationships with new clients and channel partners
  • Manage and grow accounts with existing clients in the hydroponics vertical
  • Provide input to help develop the Corporate sales process
  • Be an expert of Company technology and customer benefits
  • Develop and maintain a target customer and channel partner database using external data and market trends
  • Identify pipeline by market segment and drive sales engagement with the customer
  • Serves as an in-house expert of key competitors and market drivers for Company
  • Regular participation in marketing activities (e.g. industry trade shows)
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in a professional organization

Qualifications:

LED lighting account manager

  • Minimum 4 years progressive experience in Sales or account management for a technology or innovation-driven organization (preferably within Horticulture or Lighting industries)
  • Proven and verifiable track record in sales
  • Strong grasp of success rates and challenges in hydroponics careers
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and crisis management
  • Experience with and understanding of sales CRM systems
  • University education with a relevant business or technology specialization is a prerequisite for success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Presents and represents a company in a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Motivated and ambitious, acting with a strong sense of urgency
  • Acts as a humble, candid, and respectful member of the team
  • Ability to travel as needed to support all sales and client needs within assigned territory
