Cannabis Extracts Sales Director Job Responsibilities:
- Overall support for vision, development of growth objectives; drive revenue via integrated support for sales objectives.
- Strategic sales planning and decision making focused on company goals and objectives with cross-department engagement and operational engagement.
- Team leadership with a focus on driving revenue, penetrating market segments, distribution, customer service.
- Focus on the customer and consumer success and experience (retailers and consumers) managing brand and product experience from ordering and fulfillment through end-user experience.
- Cannabis Extracts Sales Director will focus on educating/cultivating retailers and consumers.
- Driving company-wide strategies and goals with a focus on post-production and support.
- Emphasis on customer/consumer outcomes.
- Develop a strategic sales plan to guide annual and quarterly corporate objectives.
- Create individual sales plans guiding daily/weekly/monthly objectives of team members.
- Report on progress and variances weekly to senior management.
- Oversee a rapidly growing team of Sales Representatives.
- Work extensively with cannabis retail operations and cannabis dispensary clients.
- Manage the expansion of personnel development and program training.
- Enforce cannabis compliance/seed to sale protocol for the sales team.
- Hold weekly team meetings and one and ones incorporating sales operations and coaching, role-playing, objection handling.
- Supervise the execution of sales programs integrating customer service, fulfillment, and tracking.
- Cannabis Extracts Sales Director will support: Channel Marketing, Strategy Development, Sales Messaging
& Materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration, MBA preferred
- 3+ years of experience in the Colorado cannabis industry
- 7+ years of experience in sales management
- 10+ years experience in direct B2B sales, premium products a plus
- Strong prospecting, closing and account management skills
- Cannabis Extracts Sales Director must have exceptional communication skills
