In order to find the best host for their cannabis industry event, the management team at CannaCon carefully assessed several cannabis recruiters before choosing M&F Talent. After some careful screening, M&F Talent was elected to host the event. We were chosen due to our familiarity with writing marijuana resumes and our general expertise.

As M&F Talent has representatives in Colorado, California, and the Midwest, we were thrilled at the opportunity to expand our network in the Washington cannabis space. The cannabis recruiters at M&F Talent put together a solid packet of information for the Cannabis Industry Career Fair. This packet included information relating to hiring trends with cannajobs. It also included effective searching for cannabis jobs. Throughout the three-day event, the cannabis recruiting team from M&F Talent met and spoke with hundreds of professionals from the Washington cannabis industry. To this end, M&F Talent is impressed by the breadth of industry knowledge with Washington cannabis professionals. Similarly, we forged some valuable business alliances with cannabis companies in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. These relationships have already proven to bear fruit in the months since Seattle CannaCon. We are excited to see what sort of networking we can do to facilitate cannajobs in the area moving forward.

The Cannabis Industry Career Fair proved to be a hit with the Washington cannabis community. As such, some of the best companies in the State showed up to market their cannajobs. To illustrate, Phat Panda’s HR team setup shop to discuss the many ins-and-outs of their cultivation and manufacturing business with prospective employees. Phat Panda is the largest i502 producer in the State of Washington. They have set a high-standard of quality and efficiency in their business located near Spokane.

Marijuana Resume Writing Lecture

To highlight the Cannabis Industry Career Fair at Seattle CannaCon, M&F Talent’s Director of Business Development Kent Gruetzmacher gave a lecture about marijuana resumes and our Cannabis Resume Writing Service. Kent’s speech had a sizable turnout and was received warmly by attendees. The audience included lawyers and cultivators in the Washington cannabis community. Kent’s guidance on marijuana resume writing was utilized by several high-level professionals from the lecture.

The team from Phat Panda also gave a presentation about a “typical day on the job” in a cannabis cultivation facility. Topics covered by Phat Panda include clean room etiquette, employee retention, and marijuana processing. The cannabis recruiters at M&F Talent owe the team at Phat Panda a debt of gratitude for taking the time to travel to Seattle CannaCon.
