M&F Talent has a hemp industry client in Colorado that is looking to fill a Hemp CBD Sales Manager job. Our client has a commercial hemp cultivation facility in Southern Colorado and is expanding their imprint in the national hemp industry. One of the keys to this expansion is the development of a successful sales team.

The ideal candidate has a background in the health and wellness space, as well as experience managing sales teams. Also, experience working in a cannabis startup company, or similar environment, is preferred. The primary sales activities will be focused on bulk CBD and CBD products derived from organic hemp plants. Our hemp recruiting team feels this is a more managerially focused position than most hemp jobs.

Location: Colorado

Hemp CBD Sales Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Work comfortably in a variable “start-up” business environment based in agriculture
  • Work hand-in-hand with company VP in creating the sales team
  • Pro-actively finds solutions to problems: critical thinking
  • Drives sales cycles with consistency regardless of seasonality or market fluctuations
  • Responsible for the comprehensive success of the sales team
  • Develops an expert understanding of the hemp-derived CBD marketplace
  • Creates calculated sales campaigns and plans to help the company achieve sales goals
  • Mentor sales teams through articulate criticism and positive feedback
  • Schedule sales activities around the hemp harvest
  • Forecast sales number according to seasonality and market fluctuations
  • Work with marketing teams in unified campaigns
  • Study the health benefits of hemp-derived CBD products
  • Maintain detailed records/metrics of sales performanceshemp cbd sales manager job
  • Teach the sales team the value/selling points of CBD products

Qualifications:

  • B.A. Degree in Business or like field
  • 5 years of experience in sales management: retail, turn-key services, or commodities
  • 2 years of experience working in the health and wellness industry
  • Pre-established sales network in bulk CBD sales and cannabis retail products
  • Understand the sales cycle from start-to-finish
  • Experience realizing company goals and explaining so through databases and spreadsheets
  • Superb written and verbal communication
  • Leadership skills: ability to nurture motivation and enthusiasm in sales teams
  • Passion for horticulture and CBD /medical marijuana products
